flavly Terms of Service

Effective date: 3 August 2026 (revised — takedown and correction requests for restaurant data; public guide pages: no-account access, search-engine indexing licence, no property claim over individual facts)

Welcome to Flavly. By using our app or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About the Service

Flavly is a dish recommendation service for Krakow, Poland. It helps you discover specific dishes at nearby restaurants using AI-powered search. The service is provided by Przemyslaw Warias.

2. Account

Some parts of the website — including the public guide pages under /przewodnik — are available without an account. Everything else, including search and personalised recommendations in the app, requires you to sign in.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Search engines. As an exception to the above, we permit search engines that respect our robots.txt to crawl and index the public guide pages, and to display short excerpts of them in search results. This permission covers those pages only. It does not extend to the app, to any signed or shared link, or to bulk or systematic extraction of our catalog by anyone — including a search engine — which remains prohibited.

4. User Content

When you submit content to Flavly (ratings, photos, reports, feedback, restaurant submissions), you:

Uploaded photos are subject to moderation. We may remove content that violates these terms.

5. Menu Data and Recommendations

6. Usage Limits

The free tier includes up to 50 searches per hour. We reserve the right to adjust limits to maintain service quality. Abuse of the service may result in temporary or permanent suspension.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Flavly available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily disable the service for maintenance. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

The Flavly name, logo, design, and underlying technology are our property. Restaurant data is sourced from public sources (OpenStreetMap, restaurant websites), Google Places API, and user-contributed restaurant submissions (see §4). Menu information may be collected from restaurant websites by automated means. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the service.

Two clarifications for the public guide pages. First, individual facts on those pages — a dish name, a price, a restaurant address — are not claimed as our property; the editorial text, selection, arrangement, and design of the guides are. Second, the permission in §3 for search engines to index and excerpt those pages is a limited exception to this section and to nothing else.

Takedown and correction requests: if you are a restaurant owner, operator, or other rights holder and want menu data, photos, or other content relating to your business corrected or removed from Flavly, email contact@flavly.pl with the restaurant name and the items concerned. We act on such requests within 30 days, whatever the original source of the data. Because menu data may be re-collected automatically, removed material can occasionally reappear after a later collection run — if that happens, let us know and we will remove it again promptly and take reasonable steps to keep it from being re-added.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

10. Privacy

Your use of Flavly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

11. Termination

You may stop using Flavly at any time. You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile → Delete account) or request deletion by contacting contact@flavly.pl. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Krakow, Poland. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under EU consumer protection law.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated via the app.
